WHO ARE YOU

This project was related to my dissertation “Picture Book: An Analysis of Picture Book and Its Relevance Today”. We can easily see picture books around us. Although it is such a common picture book, I wondered if such a variety of printing techniques and materials existed from the beginning. My thesis topic focused on 'picture books' and was a thesis on how picture books developed and what shape they will take in the future. To express this visually, I tried to make a book with a story.

The atmosphere of picture books varies widely depending on which material they use or which printing method they use. In order to visualise this effectively, it was approached using a friendly method called rabbit. A small book was produced by introducing rabbits by adding materials, printing methods, and the century in which the means began. In addition, they tried to help the audience understand in a more friendly and fun way by introducing their own characteristics, like rabbits’ personalities. Through this book, audiences can enjoy and effectively experience the development of printing methods and materials. This was developed in my book and can be seen as a visual summary of the picture book.
